【WINERY】Chateau Lafon-Rochet，Fourth Growth/ Quatrieme Grand Cru Classe in 1855, dates back to the middle of the 17th century. The Chateau has 111 acres (45 ha) planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The Chateau is owned by the Tesseron family who made their fortune in the Cognac trade and also own Château Pontet-Canet.

【TASTING】Intense flavours of cassis, blackberries, smokey notes. Lots of mouthcoasting, dense tannins that dominate the palate. Dusty dry finish. This wine needs at least 5+ years before the flavours can come to the fore.
